Bagadocious, Pedro, and Kotur

Today I am going to tell you about Bagadocious brand custom shoe-bags and wonderful new things to put in them.
As someone who sells and loves shoes and bags I want to emphasize how important it is to take care of them. Keeping the box can be great for storage but boxes are bulky and you can't travel with them. So then what should you do? Bagadocious was started by Leslie Fuller, a self proclaimed shoe and handbag fanatic who also wanted a way to store her favorites when she wasn't using them and still keep them organized. Now you can order her bags customized with your shoes right on the front.

Here is one of the bags with a new edgy pair of Pedro Garcia shoes on the front. You can have bags made with any of your own shoes. You can also order Bagadocious bags for all of your favorite handbags, even the smaller evening bags like the Kotur miniaudiere below.
These super soft bags are perfect for storage and travel, and they come in different sizes for all of your accessories. You can have gorgeous, ultra-lux, custom, bags for everything from sunglasses and jewelry to boots and hobo handbags, all you need is a picture. The bags are available for order exclusively online.
Click here to visit the Bagadocious website.

Below are beautiful new arrivals in the store. I have a bunch of new options for you to put in your brand new Bagadocious custom bags.

New Handbag collection from KOTUR

Everyone already knows that I love this handbag collection. The delivery I received just a few weeks ago is gone so I know you guys love them too. I have a few of the bags from the new assortment featured below but there is even more to see in the store. Or if you need photos for something specific just text me 972-896-3752

The bag is finished with a distinctive foiled leather to give it a great silver shine without becoming too bright.

The brocades from Kotur are always special. This is a patterned silk with a soft gold floral woven into the material. very cool - great color

This is a gold python skin bag that has small patches of the skin filled in with rose and pale blue. I actually raised the contrast level a bit so you could see the color, in person the bag is gold. The small touches take an outfit to the next level, a good outfit may call for a gold bag and one like this can make it GREAT.

I love how different this bag is from everything else. It is a leather bag, with a stingray impression, in a pewter color. There is also an iridescent finish to the bag to make it even more neutral. More than all of that, my favorite part of the bag has got to be that the clasps on top are bullets.

KOTUR Handbags for Fall 2011

Kotur is an amazing collection that I have been telling you about for years. These handbags, designed by Fiona Kotur, are inspired by the timeless craftsmanship of traditional eastern textiles. Each bag is meticulously created in Hong Kong and is made to capture the creative nature of its designer.
Below I have pictured an assortment of my brand new collection of Kotur minaudiere bags. The majority of these bags are wrapped in the gorgeous brocade that Kotur bags are known for. I have even more for you to see the next time you visit.
Enjoy!

FALL / WINTER 2010 TREND REPORT

Hey everyone! I am finally ready to do the fall trend report with you! I wanted to post it a little sooner but I have been so busy - luckily I have gotten to see a lot of you lately. Check it all out and let me know your thoughts - you know I am always nearby for questions and comments. Swing by and visit or hit me up @ DallasShoeGuy@gmail.com and DallasShoeGuy on TWITTER

THEMES
First of all this entire season has a basis in two strong influences. Classic Feminine Silhouettes are going head to head with the rough and tumble Military Chic.

A military influence doesn't mean you have to go grunge. Have fun with trends and find your favorite way to wear them. A high heel combat boot really changes the look of your skinny jeans with a sweater and it does a great job of making a dress and tights dramatic. A new handbag can always update a look fast too. The right color and details (like a little hardware) can go a long way.

"Classic feminine silhouettes" does not mean watered down fashion. This season is full of classic tailoring that still turns heads. Take this great chance to show off fantastic accessories. Bags right now have a more sturdy structure than the bags of the last several seasons. Think DoctorBag or Attache shapes for your large day bags - save your hobo bags for later.

COLORS
The one theme that has crossed over into all of the styles and into everyone's collections is the power of neutrals. Take all of your classic fall colors (Black, Brown, Camel, Navy) and be sure to add plenty of GREY - TAUPE - OLIVE. Start mixing and matching these colors and I guarantee you will love seeing how much you can stand out in neutrals.

Don't worry - I would not leave you with just neutrals to wear until spring. When you are dying to mix it up and add a punch of color - focus on sumptuous Jewel Tones. These rich colors keep your outfit looking lush.

SHAPES and HEEL HEIGHTS
Everything goes! There are so many options right now. You can find everything from ballet flats to flat riding boots and we also have high heeled over the knee boots. You can find round toes and square toes, there are even points starting to sneak back on the scene. So have fun this season with all of the trends and wear them your way.

New clutches for day and evening

This year I am really glad to see that handbags have a lot of variety - they run a whole range of shapes, colors, materials and sizes. One notable trend this season is the movement back to bags with structure. An easy place to spot examples of the trend is in clutches, for day and evening and from lots of different designers.

Rebecca Minkoff
Love her work. This great medium size clutch has plenty of room for the essentials and a lot of style. The fringe is optional, so if it isn't for you just take it off. The bag can also be worn with the long cross body strap - this is an important trend for day wear clutches also.
-Rebecca Minkoff will be having a stock show in the store from September 8-11, mark your calendars and come see her fantastic pieces that you won't find anywhere else-

Kotur
These are just a few of the gorgeous authentic snake skin pieces that I have in from Kotur right now. There are also beautiful gilded metal clutches and fun jacquard prints. Have fun with color this season, winter is always so neutral that you can have fun with your favorite colors - just make sure they are sumptuous and rich for this fall!

Carlos Falchi
He is world renowned for fantastic snake skin bags and I love that his work is not resigned purely to be "classic". These larger day to cocktail clutches are slightly long and easy to use. Instead of trying too hard to match your prints and colors let an outstanding bag like this stand out as it was meant to. You should always have fun with accessories.

Zaida Michele
I am so happy to have Zaida Michele back. These exotic skin bags are great quality and the colors are very special for exotics. The price is beyond good too - far better than other exotics on the market. The vibrancy in the specialty colors and the variety of shapes and designs makes these bags really fresh. These are great for any occasion or for no occasion at all, just grab your great looking reliable clutch and go.
